Lenovo U300s Ultrabook

Dec.13,2011. At an event held at Dillinger’s bar in Greenbelt 3 in Makati City, Lenovo officially launched two new products for the Philippine market – the Lenovo IdeaPad U300s ultrabook and the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet.

Lenovo cites a research by IHS iSuppli as one of the reasons it has joined the ultrabookwars. According to the research firm, the mobile PC market is embracing the new ultrabook platform and will account for more than 40 percent of all notebooks by 2015.

As a first ultrabook offering, the Lenovo IdeaPad U300s is set to impress.  It combines a full-metal stylish design, long battery life, and the latest notebook technologies.  The 13.3” U300s is ultrathin at only 0.6 inches (14.9mm) with a bodybuilt from a single-piece aluminum shell.  It’s also lightweight, weighing only less than three pounds.

The IdeaPad U300s is proof that sexy can also be powerful.  The notebook is powered by up to 2nd generation Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 and is equipped with Enhanced Experience 2.0 RapidDrive SSD technology that speeds up boot up time in as little as 10 seconds.   Lets look at the IdeaPad U300s’ technical specs.
